Kayak Collection is a California-based healthcare and wellness organization specializing in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Services centered around: Human and Supportive Services, Behavioral Health Services, Mental Health Services and Wellness Support.
We provide compassionate, person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and neurodiverse communities. We proudly serve Regional Center clients across California through a trauma-informed, holistic approach that integrates mental health, behavioral support, housing assistance, and community-based life services.
We empower individuals by embracing their unique abilities and fostering growth through personalized, community-driven care. We believe in limitless potential, learning in natural environments, and the transformative power of dignity, resilience, and continuous support.
We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life by delivering a broad spectrum of services tailored to the unique needs of each person-whether through mental health support, behavioral health training, home services, or specialized care for vulnerable populations.
We work directly with communities, patients, and the government to ensure that our services—ranging from mental health crisis response, behavioral health training, behavioral health support, neurodivergent and autism support, developmental disabilities services, respite care, emotional wellness care, to home services, and re-entry support programs—are accessible and impactful. Our services are designed to be inclusive, compassionate, and effective, aimed at empowering those we serve to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
We serve a diverse and dynamic population—including neurodivergent individuals, those living with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, learning differences, and individuals in recovery.
Our approach goes beyond traditional healthcare; we deliver comprehensive care that integrates mental, behavioral, social, and community well-being. Through strategic partnerships with local governments, nonprofits, and businesses, we design transformative, person-centered solutions that foster long-term healing, independence, and measurable community impact.
Our comprehensive programs include adaptive skills training, crisis intervention, behavioral health services, respite care, specialized therapies, and wellness-based interventions. Every service is tailored to empower individuals, enhance independence, and support personal growth—helping each person build essential life skills and thrive within their community.
Our 11 core programs deliver individual direct services with individual teams while we oversee operations, finances, and strategy to ensure high-quality care. Through a unique blend of traditional and innovative approaches—such as adaptive skills training, crisis intervention and prevention, cognitive and behavioral interventions, respite care, and educational support, arts therapy, movement, training, education, and behavioral therapies—we promote lasting mental and behavioral wellness and thriving communities.
Our goal is to reshape behaviorial mental health care by providing accessible, transformative solutions that foster resilience, independence, and long-term well-being through our programs.
In addition to English, our team includes service providers per program who are fluent in various languages, including Spanish, Farsi, Arabic, Tagalog, Hebrew, Chinese, and Korean—ensuring diverse and multilingual support tailored to our individual client’s needs.
